I am committed, as Member of Parliament for Ottawa Centre, to work with my colleagues to introduce legislation that will protect the lands of the Central Experimental Farm from further development, forever.
The federal Minister of Environment and Climate Change has been tasked by the Prime Minister to develop comprehensive legislation to protect federally-owned historic places.
As such, I sent a letter to the Minister of Environment and Climate Change requesting that the Central Experimental Farm be protected under this new legislation.
